Mark continued the Long and Winding Road series this week by focusing on the tabernacle. In Exodus 25:8-9, God gave Moses precise instructions about how to build the tabernacle. This is where God met with His people Israel and where Israel followed God. Tabernacle means a dwelling place or tent. Mark taught the correlation of the tabernacle and its furnishings with Jesus. John 1:14 speaks of the Word dwelling with us, or pitched its tent among us, or tabernacled among us. When we want to meet with God, we tabernacle with Jesus.
